The back of the book provides some fun little craft activities for children. This includes spiders dangling, ghosts in the windows of buildings in the background, bats flying in the air, and the subtle change of color of the leaves on the trees. There are colorful illustrations throughout the story and fun little details hidden in the pages for children to find. In true Sesame Street fashion, all the little pumpkins gather together and share their treats with their friend. The happy mood changes when a scary noise causes one of our little pumpkins to drop their treat bag–only to have the contents scattered by the wind throughout the road. The reader slowly meets the rest of the characters including the Cookie Monster popping out of his trash can and Bert, Ernie, Count, and Big Bird handing out treats. The story begins with five of the characters (all dressed in pumpkin costumes) getting ready for a night of trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. What did you like about the book? This is a cute little rhyming story with the friends of Sesame Street enjoying some wonderful Halloween festivities.
